Sardonic Dough
Hello, you can call me Pizza. I've been a pretty big fan of the sims for a while. Occasionally I post pictures. Once in a blue moon, downloads. Enjoy your stay.

Calling it quits on that mesh for now lads. I think there’s a variety of issues (both meshes, base and shoes, being custom is probably one. And the lack of comments, and…probably other stuff.) I’ll look at it in a bit again with some fresh eyes.

Now to boot up the actual game and play a bit.

Whoa, I’ve been posting a lot these past few days.
Anyway, I hate asking for help again because I’m sure a bunch of people have better things to do with their time, but here I go. For a long while I’ve wanted to have Sentate’s amazing Pond Skirt with Amaryll’s flats. And finally, after finally getting milkshape to work and also getting the hang of selecting those pesky vertexes and figuring out how to have the textures show up on the mesh, I’ve done it. There’s the proof, right up there in that picture. Look at it lads. It’s beautiful.
Now the reason I’m asking for help is: To do this whole thing I’ve been following Kielen’s tutorial at GOS. I’ve followed it as much to a T as humanly possible. The problem happens around Step #21, I believe. Though I do everything the tutorial says, the view in Body Shop is not like Step #23, in fact, it’s just blank space where the bottom should be.
I’m not sure how else to really explain it. I’m just wondering if any other meshers out there ever suffer this problem or perhaps I’m missing some crucial step. Either way, any help would be appreciated. Thanks lads.

Congratulations!
I have that happen to me all the time and it’s usually a naming issue. Make sure it’s named “bottom” in both the comments and the name that shows in milkshape. (and that you only have comments for one rather than both original outfits)
Also, I find it easier to merge vertexes like in Keoni’s tutorial rather than using extended manual edit. It’s definitely something I’d recommend checking out.

I tried remaking the mesh and I think I know what the issue may be.
Whenever I regroup the mesh into one in Milkshape, the comments completely disappear. Even when I rename it “body” or “bottom” the comments are gone. That effects how its displayed in the game right? Is this a usual issue?

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE

The wonderful Thora sent me a message pointing out how I took the files for the shirts from the Projects folder, rather than the Savedsims folder. Gosh I am such an idiot sometimes.

SO, they should work all right as rain now. I’ve updated the link on the original post (Here) to the new download.

But if you don’t want to go through all that nonsense, you can download them directly here.

Thank you to everyone who pointed out the problem and special thanks to Thora for offering the solution.

I’d give my kidney for that red dress to be converted.

Hey lads, long time no post.

So I loved Trapping’s edits of Flowermisty’s Iconic Dress, and when Nyren uploaded the whole dress with some new cool recolors and patterns, I took the plunge into clothing recoloring (which was really just copying/pasting but hey).

So it’s all 8 of the patterns that Nyren gave to Thora at TBTO, Nyren’s swatch as well as Trapping’s mesh is included in the rar. All the files are named after the swatch and compressed.

DOWNLOAD

Enjoy and, as always, if there is anything wrong feel free to send me a message.

EDIT: Files fixed, taken from the Savedsims folder instead of Projects (gosh I am dumb) they should work properly now. Thanks so much to Thora for pointing this out to me. c:
